For as long as I can remember music has always been a part of my life. I remember my mom singing specials in church as well as being a part of the worship team. So I grew up singing whatever she was working on during the week. I then began singing specials in church and some of my fondest memories growing up were participating in the children’s church Christmas specials each year.

My music world expanded greatly when dc Talk’s Jesus Freak came out. I fell in love with rock music and began listening to other Christian bands. I attended my first concert for my 12th birthday and of course I saw dc Talk. As a freshman in high school I started learning guitar and shortly after that I began leading worship for my Awana group with some friends.

Growing up in a Christian family I accepted Christ as my Savior at a very young age and was baptized but looking back I didn’t know what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus. I thought because I went to church and knew the Sunday school answers that I was good. It wasn’t until I was 19 or 20 that God revealed to me I was relying on my parent’s faith and that wasn’t going to cut it. I needed to start a personal relationship with Him. So I did. I’ve grown so much since then and God has been faithful and will continue to be. He is good!

In 2010, I started attending Hemet Valley Baptist Church. I volunteer in several areas of service there and continue to lead worship for our mid-week worship service, Paradigm (Thursday nights at 7).

Being a member of Crimson Letters has been great. I love being able to express myself through song and am so blessed to have such talented musician’s around me who have the same goals, making God big and telling others about Him. I have so much fun with you, my friends. And I look forward to what God has in store!
