For a single person, when the holidays roll around, so do those inner desires. A lot of the time, it can be depressing, but I realized something this year. If I wasn’t still single, promised to purity, I wouldn’t be able to encourage others to stay pure in their walk.
My passion is writing, books, songs, blogs, and one of my favorite subjects for a song is staying pure. Love songs about being patient and praying for someone who will cherish my heart. If I was married or in a serious relationship, I probably would be writing typical love songs.
I know it can be very hard sometimes, but you can use your gifts to encourage others to be more like Christ in this aspect.
